Liquid-based Surge Arrester – LSA (Project Number: 11482)

PI: Assoc. Prof. Thomas Tsovilis

Goal: LSA objective is the development of an innovative and highly efficient nanofluid that will enhance power systems surge protection, leading to safer, more reliable, and economic power installations.

Funding: The research project was co-funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) under the 5th Call of “Science and Society” Action – “Always Strive for Excellence – Theodore Papazoglou” (Project number: 11482).
