Impulse currents up to 80kA, including also 8/20 us waveform, can be produced.

The following high voltages are available in the High Voltage Laboratory:

• Impulse voltages to earth:
  • LI (±) up to 885 kV and SI (±) up to 850 kV
• Impulse voltages between poles :
  • LI (±) up to 1400 kV and SI (±) up to 1310 kV
• DC to earth: up to 415 kV
• AC to earth:
  • up to 300 kV (rms) single phase and
  • up to 100 kV (rms) 3-phase.
• Combinations of the above.
